1. Introduction
MDH is inviting quotations from qualified and reputable data center service providers for colocation and internet bandwidth services to host MDH application servers. The objective is to ensure high availability, secure connectivity, and reliable performance of MDH systems.
2. Scope of Work
Eligible companies are invited to submit applications covering the following services:
A. Colocation Services
- Quantity: One (1) physical server; size: 2U
- Rack space: 0.25 rack (quarter rack), with an option for future expansion
- Data center tier: Tier III or higher preferred
- Power: Redundant power supply, including dual UPS systems and generator backup
- Cooling: Adequate and redundant cooling systems
- Physical security: 24/7 restricted access, biometric or card access control, and CCTV monitoring
- Network: Redundant links to upstream service providers
- Service availability: Minimum 99.9% uptime guarantee
B. Internet Bandwidth Services
- Bandwidth Capacity: Dedicated 20 Mbps
- Connection: Between the data center and the office
- Requirement: Symmetrical bandwidth (20 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download)
- Public IP allocation: Minimum of four (4) static public IP addresses
- Latency: Low-latency connectivity suitable for database replication and remote access
- Monitoring: Real-time link monitoring and alerting
- Support: 24/7 technical support and helpdesk services
- Service availability: Minimum 99.5% uptime guarantee
3. Requirements
Applicants should provide the following information in their submissions:
- Company profile and experience in data center services
- Physical location of the data center (site address)
- Technical layout of the data center
- Description of power redundancy, cooling, and network setup
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) details
- Response time and escalation procedures for faults
- Contract duration and renewal terms
- References from at least three (3) existing corporate clients
- Financial proposal, including details of:
- Initial setup costs
- Monthly and annual service costs (internet, hosting, and any other relevant charges)
4. Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be evaluated based on:
- Technical compliance with requirements
- Reliability, uptime, and SLA guarantees
- Company experience and data center certification
- Cost-effectiveness and value for money
- Customer support and response times
